Summan av kardemumman!

När jag lämnade Shanghai gjorde jag ingen summering av den totala tiden där. Det berodde helt enkelt på att jag inte kunde för hela vistelsen hade inneburit så mycket, på så många plan. Bloggen i sig fick vara en summering och så blir det även denna gång. Lite statistik ska jag dock roa er med.

Totalt har det blivit 365 inlägg och 1438 bilder med Holmekagan och 223 inlägg och 1171 bilder med Katarinaicologne. 4 år och 4 månader,( totala tiden som utlandssvensk är 4 år och 8 månader eftersom vi flyttade ut i april 2009 men bloggen startades inte förrän på sommaren) det blir totalt 52 bloggmånader. Eller 1521 bloggdagar = 0,38 inlägg och 1,71 bilder per dag!

Men om jag ändå ska välja ut ett endaste litet ögonblick från dessa år så får det bli Adventsgudstjänsten i Hengshan community church 2009 - det var första gången jag kände den där speciella samhörighetskänslan med andra svenskar i annat land. Det var en speciell känsla och saker jag aldrig tidigare tänkt på dök upp. Som hur rörande en gammal julevisa kan vara. Glömmer aldrig mamman på första raden vars tårar bara rann när vi i kören sjöng "Gläns över sjö och strand"

Så här skrev jag i inlägget den 6 december 2009:

efter att ha övat hela hösten var det då äntligen dags att få visa/sjunga upp våra färdigheter inför publik. Första tillfället var i fredags kväll på en restaurang som heter Hamilton House och det var Svenska handelskammaren som hade bjudit in till lite "cosy christmas" med glögg, pepparkakor och annat tilltugg. Premiärnerverna var på spänn och aukustiken i lokalen var inte den bästa men efter en darrig start gick det bättre och bättre och vi fick applåder och fick även sjunga ett extranummer. En rolig kväll!

På lördagen var det dags igen tillsammans med Svenska kyrkan. De har egentligen sitt permanenta fäste i Hong Kong men kommer till Shanghai och Beijjing med jämna mellanrum och firar gudstjänst. Denna dag hölls gudstjänsten i en gammal fin stenkyrka på Hengshan road och här var det inget fel på aukustiken minsann. Framåt eftermiddagen var kyrkan full av svenska familjer och det blev en fin stund med mycket sång och glädje! Det var en märklig men härlig känsla att vara så många svenskar församlade så långt hemifrån. Svenska traditioner och sånger blir på något sätt ännu viktigare.
